Great capture, very unusual to put the dramatic working person in the golden ratio. But it works, great shot. Hopefully that fire got under control

certainly gives some thought process into that next spoonfull of sugar in my all important cuppa, they burn the canefields after about 6 months of growth, then it's cut by hand...

I see, so it is a very normal thing for harvesting the sugar canes.

OK you're going to meet a Tall dark Handsome stranger with loads of cash..who wants to build you your own personal Photographic Gallery...you in turn become fantastically rich..move to South Africa where you inlist the help of an old journalisic hack, to spread the word of your talents...( who lives in the future..the old hack that is)...that's gonna cost you, and you should really go to bed now, or you'll be no use to anyone..this is the voice of experience and whatever...or just continue to be a rebel either way!!!xxxx

It's not until i came out to Africa and saw for myself the vastness of the country, from my room as far as the eye can see, cane fields..then past that pineapple plantations, thats on this part of the coastal region, vineyards in the cape and so on, it's amazing..one of the farmers i met a few weeks ago, his entire produce of pineapples goes to Marks&Spencer Tesco in the UK,it really is mind blowing..anyway enough agricultural lessons for one day..be good/keep shooting and consider that next spoonfull of sugar in your coffee, it may just have come from near me!!!

That sounds like a lovely landscape at your feet..!
I'm always longing a bit for wide and open field of something because here everything is a bit smaller because of the mountains. The view over them can be amazing beautiful but there's no space for agriculture like you know it. We have just a view lawns with cows or sheep on them. ;)

I like the idea of drinking coffee after lunch today and maybe using sugar you maybe watched growing just a few weeks ago. ;)

That's Fantastic..it really is mind blowing to see the cane grow, be cut, taken off to be turned into sugar...however i have only one question for you..why do you need sugar? you're sweet enough already!!!xxxxxxx
